Well my whole proxy setup, i’m really about to just restore the backup i did i’m not gonna lie, i dont understand why nginx just wont use my config
Well the thing is that NGINX is loading your config just fine, otherwise it wouldn’t show up when running nginx -T. I am not entirely sure what else might be going wrong if both your access and error logs are empty. That would imply NGINX is not running, but you say the panel is up and running so that’s clearly not the case. If NGINX weren’t capable of reaching the endpoints when proxying you’d see that reflected in the error log in /var/log/nginx/error.log.
Sadly, like I previously mentioned, I am not really knowledgeable with pterodactyl and I can’t think of any other suggestions, so a restore might be in order.
I would however still suggest updating to the latest version of NGINX when you get a chance, maybe in a dev environment so that there’s ample time to debug the setup and figure out what might be going wrong. Definitely would encourage staying with Ubuntu 22.04 though given 20.04 has officially gone EoL and is no longer receiving security updates.
Well none of my setup work no. It’s completely messed up and its just confusing
I will at some point update, but right now i want a working system so i can continue working on the rest so i’ll see later, thanks for trying
