My issue: I hope I explain this well. Unable to access any proxy hosts due to access lists. I deleted an old instance but the access list is persistently active
How I encountered the problem: I was having constant port and host errors on a fresh setup of NGINX Proxy Manager. I was connecting to an old working cloudflare instance.
Solutions I’ve tried: I ended up removing nginx docker and removing my tunnel and all dns records to start from scratch. Now when i try to access an app remotely form my network such as lidarr.mydomain.au it brings up the old access list. So Google AI recommended a fresh install of NGINX Proxy manager and see if the access lists showed (obviously they didnt). I set up new access lists and I also created a new SSL cert. Same error.
My config: QNAP NAS TS464. NGINX installed in Docker Network by portainer. Cloudflared installed docker same network. Cloudflare has tunnell and dns records. All return healthy status. All apps accessible inside my network. New install of NGINX only has two apps at the moment connected but if i try to connect to any of the other 10 apps i get this error as it was originally configure for all hosts.
Basically how do i get back access to my apps remotely.
i have just done another complete removal of nginx proxy manager and tested with a cleared cache as well as a different device and it is still there
Can work out how to edit post:
UPDATE 26/04 1545…Checked again and cannot find any remnants on my QNAP NAS for NGNIX Proxy manager, deleted cloudflare docker image and cloudflare domain and tunnel AGAIN…Re ran with new connector tunnel ID. tested again and the hostname being tested still had the access prompt from NGINX lidarr.mydomain.au, even tried with lidarr2.mydomain.au and same result (yes did try icncognito and other devices). It is almost as if it is tied to the port number and as all the hosts are docker containers. Seems it is just the three of twelve containers/hosts effected - just the ones I had set up in NGINX proxy manager the other 9 are working. So This definately only effects the containers i had configured previousl…PLEASE SOMEONE HELP..
Not 100% sure of an explanation but consider this closed as all hosts are now accessible as expected on all platforms bare one. I have chrome synced on multiple devices and can access the last host lidarr.mydomain.au on everything except my mobile. The strange thing was when multiple hosts were stuck with the access list asking for credentials after being deleted it was affecting chrome desktop and android mobile and tablet (synced), ingognito mode on mobile and desktop as a well. It also effected safari on an apple device and a pc on another network… I am thinking some very strange device specific cache ??? Either 1 just waiting for my mobile to be able to access. I wont bother clearing the cache as under sync it will clear all devices of which they are working…
