OpenTelemtry is cool and incredibly useful. But the volume of data can slow things down. Phase 1 work from F5 showed compression rate improvements with Arrow of 30%-70%.
Now working with Microsoft, F5 with utilize Rust to create pipelines through Arrow protocol to help reduce CPU use, make memory more efficient and improve latency and throughput.
