I’m excited to share that the DocOps team here at F5 will bring you a redesign of nginx.org and the NGINX documentation in 2025. Our goals for this effort are:

To address “documentation overload” and content sprawl: We understand that there is a lot of content spread across nginx.org and docs.nginx.com, which can make it hard to find what you need.

To refresh the site design and improve the information architecture: We aim to give you a beautifully designed, well-organized, and intuitive experience.
We know how important it is to be able to find the right information quickly. Whether you’re just getting started or are working to bring a mission-critical service back online, our job is to give you the information you need, when you need it, so you can get the job done.
This forum thread will serve as our central hub for updates about the redesign. We’re also planning to create discussions related to content and information architecture over in our GitHub repo. Feel free to include feature or content requests in this thread, too, or to open a new issue in the docs repo.
How Can You Participate?
Your feedback is invaluable as we shape the future of nginx.org. In this thread, we’d love to hear your thoughts on:
- Is there any specific element of nginx.org that you would not want to see changed? Is there any specific element of nginx.org that you would like to see changed?
- What features or topics in our current docs do you appreciate the most?
- What challenges have you faced while using our docs? How would you like to see those addressed?
- Are there key topics, features, or tools that you feel are missing from our current docs?
- What are your favorite documentation sites and why?
- Any other ideas, comments, or suggestions you’d like to share!
We want this redesign to reflect the needs and preferences of our community, so your involvement in this process is essential.
